Synchronized calendars have an extra icon Last Palm Sync: Monday... to access to the last synchronization information.

Note: Of course, P*Wcal is absolutly not necessary to make Wcal 2.2 run.

Bug fixes

Quotes are coded to be displayed correctly in alt text of icons.

alt text is also put in the title attribute to be displayed correctly in some borwsers like Mozilla.

Fully operational month and year view (MWD)

The version 2.1 of Wcal introduce the concept of Multiple Windows Display (MWD). It's an alternate way to use the calendar. You can keep on using the traditional multiframe windows (week/day/event) but you can also use a new style of browsing that uses popup windows.

From the Wcal main page you have access to a month and a year view by clicking on the current month or year of a calendar. The month view display all days of the month with corresponding events. You can add, modify ou delete events by clicking on the different links of the view. Each link opens a pop window (Javascript must be enable) to display frame information. You have a pop window for the week, the day, the event... Pop windows have a different background. They can be iconify separately and will be poped-up when necessary.

The year view has the same structure as the month view.

A special button reload at the top-left of windows allow you to reload calendar data in the MWD mode.

Todo events

A special type of events has been added in Wcal 2.1. The flag "persistent" in the event editor allows you to precise that this event must stay in the todo list until it is disabled. Todo events can be seen as PostItTM notes and are marked persistent in the calendars.

The todo list has replaced the default year view in the "Other views" frame. The year view has been relooked with different backgrounds for weeks with ou without events. It is always accessible from the todo list.

Mails on event addition or modification

A confirmation or information mail can be sent each time a user makes a change on an event. See the option field in the alarm section of the event editor.

There is no difference between confirmation or information mail. The only difference is in the body and title of the mail. For example, confirmation mail can be set when you create a new meeting events. Information mail is used when you don't necessarily need an answer to your mail.

Events that have a mail attached are marked confirmation mail or information mail in the calendars.
